Dara joined the Wy’East team in January 2025, eager to support our mission to invest in people, partnerships, and resources that achieve solutions leading to a sustainable future. As the Deputy Director, Dara will manage project deliverables, reporting, and outreach. Dara will work closely with electric utilities, rural small businesses and agricultural producers, vendors, trade allies, and program delivery partners to support the development of cost-effective energy projects.

Dara is a fourth-generation Oregonian and a proud OSU alum. After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics, Dara has spent her career in industry. She has collaborated on complex and technical projects across a wide range of sectors, with a focus on sustainability. When not at work, you can find Dara exploring the gorge with her husband and pup by sidecar, backcountry plane, or vintage automobile.
